Residents Invited to Participate in Youth Softball Public Input Session
FAYETTEVILLE, Ark. — Fayetteville Parks and Recreation Department is hosting a public input session about girls fastpitch softball from 6:30 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Feb. 1 at the Yvonne Richardson Community Center (240 E. Rock Street) in the multipurpose room. Ideally, residents will be able to attend the entire session, but residents are welcome to “drop in.”
The focus of the session is to learn more about the priorities of Northwest Arkansas residents interested in youth softball. The meeting will open with a brief presentation and overview of the 2018 program. Staff is interested in hearing feedback about overall league policies, program division between competitive and recreation leagues, uniforms, league rules, and league schedule. Comments will guide the planning and implementation of the 2018 youth softball program and future seasons. Feedback can also be given via this 2-minute survey:
