I arrived at my car just as the Enforcement Officer was issuing me a ticket. Why can’t the officer void the ticket?
Once the license plate number of the vehicle has been entered into the Enforcement Officers handheld device, they must complete the ticket. The handheld device does not allow them to stop the issuing process. Any ticket dispute must be handled in the office. It would not be ethical to allow the officers to pick and choose whose ticket is voided.
